Montecucco – ein kleines Paradies

Seit einem Jahr kennen wir „Casa Montecucco“ und waren in diesem kurzen Zeitraum bereits dreimal dort. Es ist ein Stückchen Erde, auf dem man Erholung, Frieden und Freundschaft findet. Alissa, Luciano und Valentina verwöhnen ihre Gäste mit hervorragender toskanischer Küche mit Produkten von höchster Qualität, zum Teil aus eigenem ökologischem Anbau. Die gemeinsamen Abendessen sind die Höhepunkte eines jeden Tages, man fühlt sich nicht als Gast, sondern als Freund und Teil der „Montecucco Familie“ willkommen. Immer wieder lernt man auch Freunde von Alissa und Luciano kennen und verbringt wundervolle und anregende Stunden in großer Runde. Montecucco, unser kleines Paradies in der Toskana, hat uns süchtig gemacht.

Montecucco – a little paradise

For one year we have known “Casa Montecucco” and within this short period of time we were there three times. It is a little piece on earth where you find relaxation, peace and friendship. Alissa, Luciano and Valentina spoil their guests with an excellent Tuscan cuisine with products of highest quality, partly from their own ecological cultivation. Every day’s highlights are the mutual dinners; you always feel welcome not as a guest but as a friend and part of “Montecucco family”. Again and again you meet friends of Alissa and Luciano and spend marvellous and stimulating hours in a large circle. We became addicted to Montecucco, our little paradise in Tuscany.

Wir möchten uns noch einmal recht herzlich für die nette Unterkunft sowie das hervorragende Essen – welches von euch beiden liebevoll zubereitet wurde – und vor allen Dingen auch für die selbstverständliche Aufnahme in euren persönlichen Freundeskreis – der uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht hat – bedanken!

Wir denken sehr gerne an die wunderschöne Zeit mit Barbara und Rainer bei euch zurück. Sei es einfach die persönlich nette Begrüßung oder die schnelle, unkomplizierte Brotzeit nach einer Wanderung auf der Terrasse mitten in der Toskana, immer ein Schlückchen Wein parat, morgens den liebevoll gepressten Orangensaft von Valentina mit extra Käse und tollem italienischem Schinken.

Auch die Abende mit Musik und netten lustigen Gesprächen, egal ob englisch, deutsch, ukrainisch, spanisch oder italienisch. Wir haben uns immer verstanden!

We want to thank you very much for the nice accommodation as well as for the excellent food – that had been prepared by the two of you – and above all for the most natural inclusion into the circle of your personal friends, which we really enjoyed very much.

We like to think back to the wonderful time at your place with Barbara and Rainer. Whether the personal, nice welcome or  the quick and simple way to get a snack on the terrace in the middle of Tuscany after a hike, always a drop of wine at the ready , in the morning fresh orange juice prepared with loving care by Valentina, extra cheese and fantastic Italian bacon.

And the nights with music and amusing conversation, no matter if in English, German, Ukrainian, Spanish or Italian. We always understood each other!
